Case study 1: ŠKODA AUTO
Translation of multiple press releases for a new vehicle launch at a major motor show. We created a glossary of terms common to all of the press releases to ensure consistency across the team and used our round-the-clock capacity to ensure that documents were translated, proofread and then quality-checked within 48 hours. The client then made further changes to the source texts which we were quickly and easily able to integrate.
Case study 2: Sport-Thieme
Sport-Thieme is an online and mail order company specialising in sporting goods for clubs and schools as well as products for fitness and therapy. The German company operates worldwide and we have been Sport Thieme’s first point of contact for all kinds of translations required by the business since 2012. The translation of Sport-Thieme’s annual German catalogue into English is a key project we have been working on to tight deadlines effectively. This includes initial translation and review as well as signing the typeset pages off for printing. The finished 370-page product is used as their main international catalogue.
Case study 3: Swiss Transportation Safety Investigation Board
Translation of a highly technical, 50-page air incident report over a 3-week period. After the initial translation was completed, detailed conversations then took place within the team to ensure that all of the technical terms and concepts referred to in the document were correct. The client was extremely happy with the end result.
